Camp Fernwood is an all-girls residential summer camp located in Poland, Maine for campers ages 7 to 15. Founded in 1921, Camp Fernwood is rooted in the four principles of living simply, enjoying the beauty and wonder of natural surroundings, nurturing tolerance and unselfishness, and developing loving, lifelong friendships.

Camp Fernwood's program is intentional, allowing for friendships to form, independence and resilience to develop, and girls to fully immerse themselves in the complete camp experience.

Be the hero of a mythic quest in Adventure Quest™, a Renaissance Adventures summer camp, where children & teens are the heroes of a mythic quest in an incredibly fun, award-winning experience like none other! Journey into a co-created story where every decision matters.

In small groups of about six children, everyone gets a chance to shine and be the hero of a mythic quest! Hidden beneath the surface of what looks like a fun game, questers are actually gaining valuable social and emotional skills that aren’t always taught at school.  

For over 70 years, Thorne Nature Experience Summer Camps have helped kids grow through the power of nature. Families across Boulder County trust our camps to provide more than just fun—campers gain confidence, resilience, and a deep connection to the outdoors.

At Thorne, kids spend their days exploring, learning wilderness skills, and building lasting friendships. Along the way, they discover independence, joy, and a love for nature that lasts long after camp ends.

Welcome to the brand-new YMCA Camp Tumbleson Lake, a traditional lakeside day and overnight camp located on 300 beautiful acres near Ward, Colorado. Just 20 miles from Boulder, Colorado, we provide children ages 6-17 with outdoor adventures, resilience-nurturing experiences, support from a welcoming camp community and countless moments of fun and silliness in the heart of the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area. YMCA Camp Tumbleson Lake will be unlike any camp in Boulder County.

We are less than an hour from Boulder and Longmont and less than 2 hours from Denver, Loveland, Fort Collins and the North Metro area of Colorado. 

We strongly encourage parents and guardians to drop off and pick up overnight campers, so that families can see the property and meet staff; bussing is provided to and from camp for day camp.

With day camps throughout Boulder, Weld and Larimer counties as well as in Cheyenne, the Y offers up fantastically fun summer experiences where kiddos play, create, dive, explore, move and connect.
