This summer, your kiddos will discover sunshine, silliness, splashiness and so many smiles at the Y. With day camps throughout Boulder, Weld and Larimer counties, the Y offers up fantastically fun summer experiences where kiddos play, create, dive, explore, move and connect. And don’t forget YMCA Camp Tumbleson Lake, our day and overnight camp in the heart of the Rockies.
It’s time to banish the summer blahs. Grab your gaga ball, slather on the sunscreen and let the adventure begin!
No need to pack sunscreen. We proudly provide Rocky Mountain Sunscreen, a broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen trusted by schools and camps nationwide, for all campers. Sunscreen is applied regularly throughout the day.
Traditional Day Camps
At YMCA camps in Boulder, Erie, Lafayette, Longmont, Johnstown, Berthoud, Loveland and Broomfield, children join a community of campers and counselors that build friendships, try new activities, create fun projects, play tons of games and enjoy heaps of sunshine.
The Y offers camp options for ages 3-16 throughout summer break.

Join the Y for a fun, enriching traditional day camp experience. YMCA Camp Noco allows campers to unplug, enjoy hands-on learning, try new activities, learn new skills and make new friends. Activities include camp songs, nature activities, archery, gaga ball, sports and games, Color Wars, STEM, arts and humanities and much more.

Kinder camp is based on our traditional day camp experience — full of enriching activities but designed for younger kiddos. Little campers enjoy hands-on learning, build and learn new skills and make new friends. Weekly activities include STEAM projects, games, swimming, art and outdoor play. CCAP accepted.
Campers must be toilet-trained.
Children already enrolled in Kindergarten should enroll in Summer Day Camp.

Get ready for action-packed fun during YMCA Sportopia Camp! This camp offers an exciting mix of sports, games and activities that will keep your child moving, learning and making new friends.
From flag football to soccer to basketball to kickball, there’s something for every young athlete to enjoy. We will learn the fundamentals of a variety of sports while also celebrating our commitment to sportsmanship and teamwork.
Throughout the camp, kids will have the chance to build athletic skills, improve their coordination and develop a love for movement—while having a blast with their peers. Our experienced and enthusiastic staff ensure that all campers have a safe and supportive environment to learn and grow.
Camp Elks

This is a nature-based, outdoor-education camp where kids make friends through adventure, challenge and exploration. Campers swim, learn archery and go hiking.
Your kiddos will explore the natural land of Colorado, mountains made of granite, the four native evergreen trees and the many streams, lakes and reservoirs that connect us directly to our natural environment. Campers can add rock climbing or horseback riding to their experience. CCAP accepted.
Camp Tumbleson Lake Day Camps

Join us at the Y’s lakeside mountain day camp located just 20 miles from Boulder. YMCA Camp Tumbleson Lake is a beautiful 300-acre outdoor adventure camp that celebrates exploration, nature education and recreation.
Campers will grow their outdoor skills while connecting with the camp community and building confidence and resilience… and of course, having a mountain of fun. YMCA Camp Tumbleson Lake is unlike any day camp in Boulder County.
