Pizza lovers, mark your calendars! A brand-new event is bringing together some of Colorado's best pizza makers for a day filled with incredible food, live music, and community impact.
The inaugural Colorado Pizza Festival will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, in downtown Longmont, celebrating Colorado's thriving pizza scene while raising money for organizations fighting hunger across the state.
🍕 A Slice of Colorado's Best
More than 20 pizzerias from across Colorado will gather to showcase their signature pies and compete for the title of Colorado's best pizza.
Festival attendees can sample offerings from participating vendors while exploring a variety of local food and beverage options available for purchase throughout the day.
🎶 Live Music All Day
The festival isn't just about pizza.
Guests can enjoy a full lineup of live entertainment, including:
- The Motet Funk is Dead (Headliner)
- Other Brothers – Bill McKay's All-Star Allman Brothers Cover Band
- David Lawrence and the Spoonful
Whether you're coming for the food, the music, or both, the Colorado Pizza Festival promises a full day of fun for all ages.
🍺 Food, Drinks & Local Flavor
In addition to pizza, attendees can purchase beverages from local breweries, wineries, and distilleries.
Festival co-producer Left Hand Brewing will donate a portion of beer sales to support hunger-relief efforts.
❤️ Pizza With a Purpose
The Colorado Pizza Festival is the signature fundraising event of Pizza With Purpose, a nonprofit organization founded in late 2025 by three beloved Longmont pizzerias:
- Urban Field Pizza
- Rosalee's Pizzeria
- Antonio's Real New York Pizza
The organization supports hunger-relief partners including Slice Out Hunger and Longmont Food Rescue, helping provide meals and resources to neighbors facing food insecurity.
As Pizza With Purpose co-founder and Urban Field Pizza CEO Paul Nashak explains, the festival is about more than great food.
"It's a chance to celebrate Colorado's incredible pizza community while making a meaningful difference for families experiencing hunger."
