Pizza With Purpose is a brand-new Colorado nonprofit founded by Urban Field Pizza Co-Founder & CEO Paul Nashak and Co-Founder & Culinary Director Nick Swanson, in partnership with Rosalee’s Pizzeria and Antonio’s Real New York Pizza. Together, they’re bringing the pizza community together for a greater good ❤️🍕
WHAT:
With recent cuts to government support impacting food-insecure families in Boulder County (and beyond), Nashak, Swanson, and a coalition of local hospitality pros decided to take action. The result? Pizza With Purpose—a philanthropic partnership uniting Longmont’s Main Street pizzerias to give back in a big way.
The nonprofit will raise funds for hunger-relief organizations through community-driven events, starting with its inaugural Colorado Pizza Festival—a large-scale, international pizza competition coming to Longmont on September 5, 2026 🍕🏆
LAUNCH WEEK GIVEBACK (FEB. 9–15):
Pizza With Purpose officially launches on National Pizza Day (Feb. 9)—because of course it does 😉🍕
During launch week, the Longmont locations of Urban Field Pizza, Antonio’s Real New York Pizza, and Rosalee’s Pizzeria will donate $1 from every pepperoni or cheese pizza sold to Slice Out Hunger, a national nonprofit that mobilizes the pizza community to fight food insecurity.
COLORADO PIZZA FESTIVAL (SEPT. 5, 2026):
The Colorado Pizza Festival takes over downtown Longmont on Saturday, September 5, stretching from 1st to 3rd Avenues between Emery and Martin Streets 🎉
Expect 20+ pizzerias from across Colorado, local Longmont breweries, live music, amateur pizza competitions, the Pizza Olympics, and plenty of kids’ activities (kids under 12 get in free!) 🎶🍕🏅
All proceeds will benefit organizations working to end food insecurity in Colorado. Tickets go on sale May 1, 2026.

Slice Out Hunger is a national nonprofit that mobilizes the pizza community to fight food insecurity. Through pizza-focused events, campaigns, and partnerships, the organization raises funds, donates food, and supports local hunger-relief groups across the country.
