Loveland's Valentine Re-mailing Program Sends Love Around The World!

Loveland Valentine Re-mailing program is celebrating 80 years of sending Valentines around the world. 

100,000 Valentines from 50 states and 110 countries go through the post office where volunteers lovingly hand stamp and re-mail them to loved ones. 

The program began in the 1940's by the Loveland Stamp Club who came up the the idea of the Re-mailing program. The program took flight when Guy Lombardo was designated honorary Mayor of Loveland February 14, 1950! Guy Lombardo and his orchestra The Royal Canadians recorded "There's a Lovely Lake In Loveland". Forrest S. Knox and Mable Loveland's "Valentine Sweethearts" managed the program for the rest of their lives. 

The service is FREE and will bring a smile to your special someone. I do this for my family every year! It's a wonderful way to show you are thinking of them and add a special touch to their Valentine card. 




If you are interested in getting this special 2026 collector's envelope artwork and postmark on your loved ones Valentine, follow these steps: 

  • Package pre-addressed, pre-stamped Valentines in a larger First-Class envelope. 
  • Send the envelope to Postmaster - Attention Valentines, 446 E. 29th St., Loveland, CO 80538- 9998. 
  • Once received, Valentines will be removed from the larger envelope and hand-stamped before being re-mailed to intended recipients.



To make sure your loved ones get your card in time for Valentine's Day, Make sure to get your card to Loveland by the following dates:

  • February 2, 2026 | International Mail deadline
  • February 4, 2026 | Continental U.S deadline
  • February 9, 2026 | Colorado deadline (within the state)
