KIDS SKI FREE! Enroll Today for 2025-26 Epic SchoolKids Colorado Pack

September 10, 2025

What is the Epic SchoolKids Colorado Pack?
This free program allows children in Kindergarten through 5th Grade to receive four complimentary days of skiing and riding at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Crested Butte — that's 20 free days per student for the 2025-56 winter season!

Introduced six winter seasons ago, Epic SchoolKids is an important way for Vail Resorts to give back to the local community while ensuring future generations have access to the sports of skiing and snowboarding in Colorado.

Are you new to Epic SchoolKids in 2025/26? Visit a Front Range Epic Mountain Gear location to register in person. Your child/children must be present at the time of registration, and you will need to provide visual verification of your child's school grade during your visit. Acceptable documents include a school report card, school I.D., school transcript, passport or birth certificate.

You can make an appointment by visiting the Epic Mountain Gear website here and select the "NEW Epic SchoolKids Registration" option. Enrollment for the Epic SchoolKids Colorado Pack is not available at the Frisco Epic Mountain Gear location.

Renew your child for 2025/26: If your child/children has had an Epic SchoolKids Pack in the prior year, send an email to epicschoolkids@vailresorts.com and provide the following information in the email: parent or guardian name, parent or guardian date of birth, email address, phone number, physical address, child/children's name, child/children's date of birth.

Once you have emailed your information to epicschoolkids@vailresorts.com, you will need to make an appointment to visit a Front Range Epic Mountain Gear store to provide visual verification of your child's school grade.

Please wait to schedule your appointment until after you receive a confirmation email receipt indicating your child's Epic SchoolKids Pack has been processed.

Enrollment for the Epic SchoolKids Colorado Pack is not available at the Frisco Epic Mountain Gear location.

SKI AND SNOWBOARD EQUIPMENT

For the most affordable way to get your child the gear they need every year, visit your local Epic Mountain Gear* and ask about the Junior Trade Program. When you get your child’s gear through the Junior Trade Program, you own it for as long as it fits. Once they’ve outgrown it, you can trade it in and save big on a new size.
